Job Overview

Bailjini seeks senior criminal advocates with established Bombay High Court practice to handle our High Court bail appeals, FIR quashing petitions, and complex criminal revision matters. As a senior panel advocate, you will take instructions from Bailjini's team on referred matters and appear before the High Court's criminal appellate bench. This is a prestigious, high-impact panel position for an established practitioner who wants to combine their existing practice with purpose-driven legal work.

Key Responsibilities

• Appear before Bombay High Court criminal appellate bench for bail appeals under Section 483 BNSS
• File and argue anticipatory bail applications directly before the High Court in complex or sensitive matters
• Draft and file FIR quashing petitions under Section 528 BNSS
• Handle revision petitions challenging Sessions Court bail orders
• Advise Bailjini's client panel and junior advocates on High Court strategy and arguments
• Appear in Supreme Court SLP matters via Bailjini's Supreme Court network for referred cases

What We Are Looking For

• Enrolled advocate with a minimum of 7 years' practice, with significant Bombay High Court experience in criminal matters
• Track record of appearing in criminal bail and appeal matters before the Bombay High Court independently
• Deep familiarity with BNSS, BNS, BSA, and special laws (PMLA, NDPS, POCSO, UAPA)
• Ability to take on referred instructions from Bailjini's team alongside your own practice
• Impeccable professional reputation and standing in the Maharashtra Bar

Nice to Have

• Supreme Court practice in criminal matters
• Experience in PMLA, UAPA, or organised crime cases at High Court level
• Academic writings, bar committee participation, or other markers of professional distinction
